Carlos Bosques

Carlos Bosques currently serves as Sr. Vice President of Research at the Food Allergy Science Initiative (FASI), an organization focused on advancing innovative research in Food Allergy. At FASI, Carlos leads the Research organization and, in collaboration with a diverse group of investigators, leverages the interface of Immunology, Neuroscience, Gastroenterology and Microbiology to discover & develop new therapeutic alternatives for the treatment of food allergies. Prior to joining FASI, Carlos served as Sr. Vice President of Research and Innovation at Evolved By Nature where he led the Research on diseases associated with defects of tissue barriers such as the skin (i.e. Atopic Dermatitis) and the cornea (i.e. Neurotrophic Keratopathy).  Prior to this, Dr. Bosques occupied several leadership positions at Momenta Pharmaceuticals (now Johnson & Johnson) including Director of Biologics Discovery and subsequently Sr. Director of Translational Research. In these roles, he led the discovery and development of several immuno-therapeutics that are now in the clinic for the treatment of different autoimmune diseases such as immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). Carlos also co-led the development of the infrastructure for biologics at Momenta and has also participated in the development of therapeutics for other indications. Carlos has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and presentations.
